This OEM kit replaces the faulty Electronic Harness Controllers (EHCs) that can be prone to failure on early Big Dog Motorcycles. Unlike other aftermarket replacement kits, this kit is the only true "plug-and-play" system requiring no splicing, soldering, or custom brackets.

Simply remove the stock EHC and the EHC RIP kit will bolt right into the stock mounting locations. This upgrade significantly reduces install time and reduces the risk of installation error due factory connectors that plug & play into existing JST connections & sub components throughout the motorcycle. This kit will maintain the functionality of the stock EHC but is much more robust. Built with an all-aluminum housing and water-resistant connections, the EHC R.

Use this kit for ALL 2005-08 Carburetor Big Dog Motorcycles models that have the original stock Big Dog EHC intact (K-9, Bulldog, Chopper, Ridgeback, Mutt, Coyote, Mastiff & Pitbull). If you have a Wires Plus kit in your bike, you will need a Gen 1 kit (This kit wont work).... There are a few variations in the main harnesses depending upon the exact model & year of your Big Dog and we want to make sure you have the correct fitment.
