All laptops we provide have been carefully selected and rigorously tested to meet our quality control and only the approved selection of laptops is listed and offered for sale. All laptops are initially assessed, then fully data erased using industry leading data erasure software Blancco, once the data has been totally erased, our onsite qualified engineers carefully test all hardware components of the laptop for full working order, this includes (if applicable) Hard drive, RAM, Screen, Touch Screen, Keyboard, Trackpad, Wi-Fi, Ethernet Connection, Touchpad, Speakers, Webcam, USB ports, HDMI ports, Bluetooth, Video Connection, Audio Connections, Disc Drives, Memory Card Reader, Finger Print Scanner.

Once the laptop has been tested, diagnosed and or upgraded to full working order, The operating system (minimum Microsoft Windows 10) is installed ready for the new user. All devises are fully cleaned and sanitised, then repackaged.

The speaker is in absolutely excellent condition and it comes together with all its accessories. Power cords, UK and European plugs. Simply connect the Solo 5 system to your TV with just one audio cable (optical, coaxial or analogue, in order of preference).

We know a list of specifications isn't always clear so please see our rough guide below explaining how the specifications translate into everyday use. Be sure to include an outline of what you'll be using the laptop for and any particular programmes and games you want to run, and we'll be happy to provide some recommendations. Intel core I3 is perfect for basic computing internet browsing, responding to emails etc. But will struggle to run several programmes at once or play games.

Intel core I5 is great for office and schoolwork. You'll be able to comfortably run multiple internet browsing tabs and office programmes at the same time, play basic games and stream music and videos. Intel core I7 has all of the capability of an i5 but faster and smoother. Perfect if you need to run more demanding programmes, juggle multiple office programmes or play more demanding games (You'll also need to check the specific graphics requirements - see GPU below for more information about this).

The number after the - in the processor model number denotes the generation of the processor. The higher the generation number the newer the machine is. The larger the hard drive the more space you'll have to store Photos, Videos and Documents. HDD means the laptop has a standard hard drive installed - Usually 500GB plus so plenty of storage space.

SSD or NVME means the laptop has a Solid-state drive - Generally these have less storage space but have noticeably faster loading speeds. 4GB is great for basic computing, Internet browsing, Checking emails etc. 8GB for general school and office work, Spreadsheets and Word processing and playing basic games. 16GB+ if you need to run multiple or more challenging programmes such as design or production programmes or more high spec games (this tends to include newer larger games). Most laptops have integrated graphics i. Its built into the machine The GPU will say something along the lines of Intel HD graphics xxx. Integrated graphics are perfectly capable of running most programmes. If you're looking to run more demanding programmes such as high spec games, professional photo/video editing or graphic design programmes you may need a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. Be sure to check the minimum requirements of the programme you want to run on the developer's website.
