NEC Turbo Duo System, Console, Controller, AV cable, Pwr. Spply DOES NOT START

  

The NEC Turbo Duo with Super CD-ROM game console. THE SYSTEM DOES NOT POWER ON. It did work at one time that I owned it ; I have played it before, but it does not power on anymore. The initials of a previous owner are etched into the back of the console and on the power supply. The strands of the AV cable were partially separated at one point and taped back together.
